Apple Pie Smoothie

This is a seasonal favorite! Who doesn't love apple pie? To be honest, I was always hesitant to try a "pie" flavored smoothie, but my cousin swore by it in October and I have to say.. I'm hooked. Especially on a crisp, sunny autumn morning- there is nothing more seasonally refreshing. Save this recipe for when the leave start changing and apple season strikes. Honey Crisp are my personal favorite! I cannot get enough of them. Pro tip- freeze some honey crisp apple (you can leave the skin on) to make a thicker smoothie!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1-2 frozen apples

  • 1/4 cup coconut yogurt

  • 1/4 cup oats

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Optional

  • Top with coconut whipped cream, date caramel, cinnamon, etc!

Directions

Add in your coconut milk and water, followed by frozen apples and coconut yogurt. Then add in your oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and maple syrup. Blend everything together and add more liquid or more frozen apples for desired consistency. Enjoy!
